A Word About Fees
Thank you for purchasing tickets for an IowaTIX event. We know that ticket prices and associated fees have been a hit to the consumer pocketbook in recent years and that is why IowaTIX and the producers of this event have worked hard to provide a 25-50% reduction in fees from our ticketing competitors. All the while maintaining a state of the art system to sell ticket and support the venues. Below is some detailed information about how the fees you pay are applied:
Service Fee:
This fee is applied to the maintenance and upgrade of the IowaTIX technology system that allows venues and outlets to process your ticket as well as the staff it takes to ensure your satisfaction.
Fulfillment Fee:
This is the fee is assessed to cover the cost of mailing you tickets. Including supplies, stamps/UPS fees, and staff.
Facility Fee:
Believe it or not it�s equally hard for venues to support events right now as well, therefore some of our client venues are adding this fee to help maintain and upgrade their facilities. This fee may also be called a �Historic Restoration Fee� or �Support Fee�.
Processing Fees:
Certain ways of purchasing are more costly than others. We are not allowed to distinguish these types of purchases in this document or unfairly disadvantage this purchasing process by assessing fees only when you pay via this way. Therefore all purchases are assessed a processing fee usually 3.5%- 4% of the total cost of the order.
Sales Tax:
As always the government gets their cut. Currently 6% of the total sale.
